Yes. Creating a profile, browsing jobs and applying are all completely free. We never charge job seekers.
No. Baqboq was built for jobs where a CV rarely matters — barista, barber, nail technician, receptionist, sales and similar roles. You fill in your profile once, then apply to any job with a single tap.
Open the job and tap "I'm Interested". That records your application and lets the employer know. There is nothing else to fill in.
The employer sees your application in their dashboard along with your profile. If they want to take it further, they contact you directly — usually on WhatsApp. You can track every application under "My Applications".
Only after you show interest in one of their jobs, or after they reach out to you. Browsing employers cannot see the phone number of someone who has not engaged with them.
Yes. You can turn off "Show my full name" so employers see you as Anonymous until you apply, and you can hide your profile entirely from browsing so only jobs you apply to can see it.
For these roles, how you come across matters more than anything written down. A short video — around 30 seconds — lets an employer get a sense of you straight away, and profiles with one get noticeably more attention.
Yes. Open the job and tap "Withdraw application". The employer will see that you withdrew, and you can apply again later if you change your mind.
We are starting in Amman, Jordan, and expanding from there. If you are outside Amman you can still create a profile — more cities are coming.
Posting is free while we are getting started in Amman. You can publish a listing and receive applications at no cost.
Thirty days. After that it expires and stops appearing in search, but nothing is lost — you can edit and repost it whenever you want.
Open their profile and tap "Reach Out". They are notified that you are interested and can message you back on WhatsApp. You can also contact anyone who has applied to your job directly.
Yes. Open the job and tap "Edit job" to change any detail, or close the listing when the role is filled. Closing hides it from candidates but keeps your applicant history intact, and you can reopen it later.
Your dashboard lists every job with its applicant count. Open a job to see the full profiles of everyone who applied, and mark them as Hired or Not selected as you work through them.
Not to get started. Anyone hiring for a real role can post today. We are adding optional verification so established businesses can display a verified badge and stand out.
